Klimt - Hygieia - Cross Stitch Pattern
This pattern was inspired by the painting Medicine, by Klimt. The original was painted with the intent of being displayed in the ceiling of Vienna University, his paintings were deemed too depraved to be displayed at the time.
It is believed that the paintings ended up being destroyed during the Second World War
In this pattern, we have a part of that painting, depicting Hygieia, the Greek goddess of health and cleanliness.
This pattern is part of the "Famous paintings" collections, click here for more on this collection!
This pattern doesn't contain any backstitches and fits very nicely on an embroidery hoop!
